What was your favorite memory of this trip? Traveling on the weekends, having the surprise party thrown for me at the school.
What was the most difficult thing you experienced? Chilean Spanish is very difficult to understand
What was the one best lesson learned? Empathy towards others. Be adventurous!
Any tips for future volunteers… (clothing, travel, personal items, donations, sightseeing etc)
Learn as much of the language as you can. Travel on the weekends. Leave your comfort zone.
How was your host family experience? My hosts were wonderful. I felt right at home. I loved the volunteers I met. Wonderful cooking and wonderful people.
